Scribble and Scrap challenge #15 DT post!!!

Morning!!!! I hope you are all well!!!! Our weekend is going pretty well!!! yesterday  I took Alaia swimming (again!, it's becoming a weekly thing now...), but this time we went with one of her nursery friends... Today... Mother's Day in the UK! I intend to stay home... a bit of crafting, a bit of family time... and hopefully getting a bit spoiled!!!

And as every fortnight, I'm here, bright and early (more early than bright!) because we have a new challenge for you at

As always, the challenge is Anything goes. so go over to the Scribble and Scrap challenge, take a look at the great cards my fellow DTs have made for your inspiration and join us!
There will be a Random drawn winner, who will get a £15 voucher to spend in the Scribble and Scrap shop.
But if the Random drawn winner has used a product from www.scribbleandscrap.co.uk the prize will be a £20 voucher instead of a £15 voucher.
Also each of the Top Three will win a £5 voucher to spend at www.scribbleandscrap.co.uk

And this is my card this week!

a bit of a different card for me today! it's A5 size, but the front cover is a bit smaller than 6in x 6in.....
I took inspiration from a card a saw a while ago, although the sizing of the card is a bit different... I just took the concept. you can find the original card here.

For my card I used one of the beautiful digital stamps available at Scribble and Scrap. This one is called "Vintage Beauty 5.

The papers I've used are also from the Scribble and Scrap shop. They are Fabulous Florals 2  and

Grungy Florals - Naturals. This sets have a lot of colours to choose from, but this time I used one of my favourite colour combinations, pink and yellow/cream.

I used my Promarkers to colour the image.

I used:

Cocoa, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Buttercup, Pink Carnation, Blossom, Pink Mittens, Tulip Yellow, Almond, Vanilla, Leaf Green, Moss and Blender pen.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad in Tattered Rose to distress the edges of the image, papers and card stock.
I punched the butterflies and inked the border with the same Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

For the side edges of the card I used two punches, a non-branded and a Martha Stewart edge punch (the flowers edge)

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The Pearls are from Hobbycraft and the ribbon and lace are from local shops.

This is an inside view, take a look at the beautiful papers!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Love to Create #108 - Bingo (pink, lace, flowers) 3rd entry
Penny's challenge #170 - Use your favourite colour combo (my favourite colour combo is pink and yellow)

I really hope you like my Scribble and Scrap DT inspiration card for this fortnight challenge!
If you do please leave me some love in the comments.
and don't forget to follow!!! I'm still having trouble with Google friend connect, I can't follow anybody! but it seems there is no problem with people following me... weird!
anyway.. hopefully it will get sorted soon!

Until later on, when I'll bring you my second card for today!
