I hope you've all had a great weekend, with a bit of time (or a lot!) for crafting!
I was able to squeeze a bit of time (that's it, working until really late at night once the girls are in bed!). My toddler seems to be so full of energy, she doesn't want to sleep early... I haven't got any other option than to craft during the night.. which I don't really mind on the weekend, and I get some peace and quiet!)
Today I bring you another New baby card, which I've made for my friend and neighbour, who had a baby boy last week. It's CAS (I think it's the most CAS card I've ever made!), just one layer and no designer paper! that was a challenge!
So, after a lot of stamping, inking, masking and colouring this is what I ended up with! A few years ago I wouldn't have dreamt to make a CAS card... but lately I'm really giving them a try (although I still like to indulge in layers and lots of embellishment in some of my cards).
For this card I used a clear stamp set that I've had for a long time and it's been sitting in a drawer since.... (together with a lot of more stamps waiting to be inked...). It's the "New Arrival" Forever Friends clear stamp set, I don't remember where I got it from.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
Card Recipe
6x6 card blank
"New Arrival" Forever Friends clear stamp set (baby bear and cross stitching stamps)
Promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour the stamp
Papermania light and dark blue pigment ink
Sizzix Tim Holtz On the Edge torn notebook die (used to mask the edges of the inked patch)
The Crafter's shop mini template - writing stencil
Postal mark clear stamp from The Works
multi date stamp (from local shop in Spain) - I used it to add the baby's date of birth
"Cute as a button" stamp from Hobbycraft
blue heart button
sequins in different colours
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I hope you like my try on a one layer CAS card! If you do, don't forget to leave me some love in the comments and follow me if you are not doing so... Thanks!
Until next time!!!
