So join us in this week's challenge at Sentimental Sundays, and take a look at the great cards my fellow DTs have made for your inspiration!

and I got to work with one of her images! It's Flower Doodle 3 that you can find in her blog store!

The paper I've used is from American Crafts Dots and Stripes paper pad
The sentiment is from Pebbles Front Porch paper pad. I saw it and I thought it would go great with the flower doodles!

I decided to decoupage some of the flowers, to give the card a bit of dimension and make the flowers pop, as I haven't used as many layers as usual on this card!

I coloured the image with my Promarkers.

I used:

Leaf Green, Lime Zest, Amethyst, Lilac, Lavender, Pink Carnation, Blossom, Pink Mittens, Cornflower, Powder blue, Peach, Soft Peach, tulip yellow and blender pen.

I also used Anita's 3-D Clear Gloss Finish on top of the flowers and glitter glue on top of the big pink flowers only.

as the theme this week is ADD A DOODLE TO IT, apart from the doodled image, I decided to doodle my own butterfly!!!  I coloured it and added some Gloss finish and gems...

to finish the card off, I added 3 small buttons (I've realised I'm also addicted to buttons!! love them!), another button with a bit of twine in a bow, more gems and liquid pearls here and there....

a bit of a different card for me today! it's A5 size, but the front cover is a bit smaller than 6in x 6in.....
I took inspiration from a card a saw a while ago, although the sizing of the card is a bit different... I just took the concept. you can find the original card here.

For my card I used one of the beautiful digital stamps available at Scribble and Scrap. This one is called "Vintage Beauty 5.

The papers I've used are also from the Scribble and Scrap shop. They are Fabulous Florals 2  and

and this is my GDT card!!!

For my card I used a Paper Nest Dolls image called "Love Strung", which they very kindly donated for me to work with. I decided to make it a Mother's Day card, but it can easily be used for Valentines, Anniversary, Love...

On this card I decided to shape the front cover, so it's got a beautiful frame cut at the bottom... I did it with the Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations On the Edge die.

The papers I've used are from:  Pebbles Front Porch paper pad, First Edition Rose garden paper pad, Kaiser Kraft Christmas collection paper pad (freebie from a magazine) and the music sheet paper also freebie from a magazine.

All the edges have been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Old Paper. I also used Papermania embossing powder in foam white, sprinkle around the edges and heated with a heat gun.

As extra layers I used: a paper doily and a piece of cheese cloth, the latest from The Ribbon Girl.

I coloured the image with my Promarkers.

I used: Poppy, Cool Grey 3 and 2, Tan, Almond, Satin, Vanilla, Blossom, Buttercup and Sandstone.

I used some glitter glue on top of the hearts, I'm getting addicted to this stuff!!!!

The "Love you" sentiment is also part of a paper pad from Pebbles Front Porch.
The MUM letters are from Docrafts Papermania Madame Payraud's mini alphabet stickers.

I also used to embellish the card:
Flowers and pearl brads from Wild Orchid Crafs.
Marianne Cretables leaves die.
Lace, ribbon and buttons from local shops
Pearls from Hobbycraft.

A very cute Bunny!!!

Hi! I'm back again!!!! I made this card last night... I had a late night again, but I really wanted to make this card.... that's my excuse!  I know I wouldn't have been able to sleep knowing this stamp was still downstairs waiting to be used...

This is the card I made:

I made it into an Easter card... but this bunny could be used for all type of occasions really. It is part of a clear stamp set of 3 bunnies and a sentiment, all of them really cute! The set is from Somebunny to Love and it was a freebie with a card-making magazine a few weeks ago...  I'm pretty sure you will see the rest of the bunnies on my cards very soon !

I used sketch #88 by Dawny P. from Papertake Weekly challenge...

The Papers I've used were also freebies from a magazine ages ago... The Easter Egg paper, I've never used before... and I never thought I would used it! It's not my kind of papers... I don't usually go for "themed" , specific for a season papers..... and less Easter Eggs... but when I saw the Loves Rubberstamps challenge for this week, I though about this paper! and I kind of like it on this card now! at the end of the day I'm happy I chose it! The spotty paper came on the same set.

I also used my swiss dots embossing folder on a piece of white card stock for the layer under the image...
I used Tim Holtz distress ink pad in Milled Lavender in the white card stock and image.

I used my Promarkers to colour the image.

I used: blossom, Leaf Green, Tulip Yellow, Cool Grey 3 and 2, Peach, Soft Peach, Buttercup, Sandstone, Powder Blue, Antique Pink, Pale Pink, Moss and Blender pen.

To embellish I just used:
3 Buttons from local shop
Pink and White Stripes ribbon from Hobbycraft
Flowers from The Ribbon Girl.

I created the sentiment on my computer.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

As you like it challenge - Favourite animal (one of my favourite animals are rabbits... my daughter wants one as a pet. Unfortunately it's not possible at the moment, so we bought her a bunny toy, which walks and moves its nose. She's named it "Snuggles"!)
Glitter n Sparkle #77 - Use something blue (blue base card stock, blue print in papers, blue flowers, blue button)
I love Promarkers #212 - Anything goes
Loves Rubberstamps #96 - Show us your ugly papers (Easter egg paper... not my cup of tea! see explanation above)

I really hope you like my card!!! if you do, please leave me some love in the comments. And don't forget to follow! (if google friend connect is not working for you too, try bloglovin' or follow by email) Thanks!

See you tomorrow!!!

A Mother's Day Card

Hiya!  I hope you are all good...

First I'd like to let you all know that my Followers Google Friends Connect is not working... it seems a lot of bloggers are in the same situation as me... It doesn't let me follow anybody... when I try, it tells me I'm already following them! (I know I'm not!) and then, when I try to sign in, an error message comes up...
If you decide to become my follower, try with Google Friends Connect, it might work for you! but if you can't, I've added the "Follow by email" and of course, Bloglovin'. So no excuses!!! :)

Today I've got a Mother's Day card for you, which my friend asked me to make for her to give to her mum. It is a bit of a different card for me.. as it hasn't got a coloured image... but I thought this type of card was the most appropriate for this occasion. I tried to go for a Shabby Chic look, hopefully I achieved it!

As usual, I played around with layers... I used two different colours of card-stock as a base, then I put the paper with writing ... it is such a great paper! it has lots of lovely quotes all written on it..., it is from Pebbles Front Porch Paper pad. On top I put another layer with card-stock and a beautiful paper from Raspberry Road Designs by Susan Darter.
All these card-stock and papers have been heavily distressed with the Tim Holtz Distress Tool, Tim Holtz Distress ink in Tattered Rose, Milled Lavender and Old Paper.
I also hand-stitched all around the papers with white thread.

As extra layers I used a Marianne Creatables Die cut, which I distressed with the same Tim Holtz inks and an stamped image "Postcard" by Papermania Urban stamps (also heavily distressed) and a piece for lace mesh.

The flowers, leaves and the filigree silver corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The pearls are from Hobbycraft.
The little "Best Mum" tag stamp is from a clear stamp freebie in a magazine a while ago.
I created the sentiment on the computer.

The scallop roses sticker is so beautiful! I've had it in my stash for years... it has a lot of texture...
The butterfly is a sticker, also in my stash for ages... not sure why I haven't used them for such a long time, but I though it would go great on this card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Love to Create #108 - Bingo (Pink, pearls, sparkle -butterfly is sparkly-)
Top Tip Tuesday - Metal or Faux Metal (metallic filligree corner)

I really hope you like the card. If you do, don't forget to leave me some love in the messages...

Until next time!!!

For this card I chose to play with this image from  Deedee's digis. And I can tell you that it was so much fun!!! This digi comes in a set called "Rainy Day" , together with another image, the clouds and a few sentiments!

The papers are from American Crafts Amy Tangerine Yes, Please paper pad (the stripes and colourful flowers paper) and from Papermania Capsule Collections Pastels - spots and stripes (the little spots paper).

As I like my layers, I added a green doily paper behind the image.
I also played with the clouds that come in the digi set, placing one on top of the little duck and the other one behind the image, half hidden. I love how this ended up!

I coloured the image with my Promarkers.

I used: Eggnog, Buttercup, Tulip yellow, Mustard, Soft Peach, Peach, Leaf green, Antique pink, blossom, pink mittens and powder blue.

I inked the edges of the clouds with blue ink.

I decided to made a shaped card this time. I used my Go Kreate die to cut the shape.

the papers I've used are from:  American Crafts May Berry paper pad (the stripes paper) and First Edition Rose Garden papern pad (the horizontal layer with newspaper style writing). the spotty paper was a freebie with a magazine, and the ones used for the tags are non-branded from local shop.

I used:
Buttercup, sandstone and burnt sienna for the hair.
vanilla and almond for the skin, plus blossom for the cheeks.
Pink Carnation, blossom and pink mittens for the dress and headband.

I used pink glitter glue on the dress for the sparkle effect!

The sentiment was a freebie from Create with TLC. I saw it and I knew it would be perfect for the image and the theme! Thank you so much Paulette for the great freebies!

To embellish I used:
