Oh Baby!!!!!

Hello again!

first of all, I'd like to thank all of you who have started following my blog. This means so much to me, knowing that there is someone "out there", who wants to read my blogs and look at my cards... I really appreciate all of you and it makes me so happy!

On another note.... everyone around me is having babies!!!! friends and family members expecting or having newborns... so cute!
My little baby (well, she's 4 and a half, but still my baby.... ) is following mummy's steps and loves drawing and colouring. So don't forget to check-out her Little Corner (Alaia's little corner) to see her fantastic art!!!!!

So a new baby card for you today.

I've used this image called "Baby and Bunny" by Mo Manning.

I used a sketch from the Incy Wincy Challenge this week. I really hope you like my interpretation of it.
.

The papers I've used are: the white paper with a baby in a Moses basket is from the Little Boy Blue paper pad from Crate Paper. The stripes paper it was a big scrap I had left, not sure where it came from, sorry...

I coloured the image with my Promarkers.
For the baby I used: Sandstone, Buttermilk, Vanilla, Blossom and blender pen.
For the cushion:  cornflower, powder blue and blender pen.
For the little bunny I used: lavender and blender pen.

I found it quite difficult to colour, as there is so much skin! and hair! they are not my "forte".
but I guess practice will make my colouring better....

I used my Martha Stewart flower border  and corner punch for the border on the left side and behind the white paper.

I inked all the edges of the papers and borders with blue ink.

And I used little colour beads for the baby's name.

The ribbon, lace and buttons are from local shops.

The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also used a Marianne Createables die for the leaves.
And this is the inside view.... I used the same stripy paper as a background and I made a writing mat with the Martha Stewart border and corner punch.
I made the cute little pram using the dots embossing folder, the circle scallop die, the flower punch and some buttons.
