A Cute Magnolia Christmas Card

Hello!

The big freeze has arrived to the UK!!!!! (at least to the Scottish Highlands). It's freezing! This morning we saw the first snow of the season... it didn't last long though, by lunchtime it had almost all gone! If the weather man is not wrong, more snow is on the way! I just hope it doesn't snow so much overnight as we are flying to Dublin tomorrow!!!! So I will be a few days away from my cards and my blog (sniff).

Tonight I have another Christmas card for you! I don't know why, but I prefer to make Christmas cards in non-traditional colours... (I'll challenge myself to make a green and red card Christmas card soon!!!).

This time I've used a rubber stamp by Magnolia called "Tilda with Dalecarlia coat". This is the first Tilda I got. I don't have a lot of Magnolia stamps (just three), but I'm slowly trying to buy more....

For this card I used the sketch provided for the Love to Create challenge this week.

It is a really fun sketch, and I gave a bit of my personality to it....

I used 3 different papers for this card, all of them freebies from a card-making magazine but from two different packs... (the Ultimate Christmas paper pack and the 'Tis the season Paper Collection).

I coloured the lovely Tilda with  my Promarkers.
For the hair: raw sienna, sandstone and buttermilk.
For the face: coral, almond and Ivory.
For the clothes: lilac, lavender, duck egg, mint green, cornflower and blender pen.
For the boots: raw sienna and buttermilk.

Last week I treated myself to 2 new packs of Promarkers!!! one with skin colours and the other one with browns.... I'm trying to build my collection up, so many to have!!!!

The doily border is a Sizzix die. The snowflake and tag dies are from Joycrafts.

The turquoise dots ribbon is from Dovecraft.

The rhinestones, felt flowers and silver thread are from local shops.

I created the sentiment on my computer.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Created with Love #67 - Anything goes Papercraft
Clear it Out challenge - Theme: Anything goes; Stash: put a snowflake on card
Crafty Sentiments Designs - Christmas

If you like this card, I would love if you leave a comment. I appreciate each and every comment and feedback I can get...

So that's me now for the rest of the week!!!! Although I'm taking the card-making bug with me and see myself looking for Craft shops in Dublin!!!!!

Thank you so much for taking a look and until next time!!!
