Crafty Catz challenge #227 - B is for.....

Morning! I hope you are all good. First of all, I'd like to wish you a Happy Easter! I hope you have a lot of fun and eat lots of chocolate! In here, I'm going to try... although I've been really poorly with stomach troubles lately. It's also my little one's 5th Birthday on Sunday... and I'm not going to be able to celebrate it properly with her.. I hate feeling so poorly... hopefully it will be over soon and I'll be myself again!!!

It's Friday again, which means it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Catz! The challenge this week is hosted by the fabulous Anna and she has chosen...

 B is for....

so, include in your card things which start with the letter B, a few or a lot!!!! some ideas.. buttons, butterflies, boy, bunting, books, blue, brown, black...etc.

Our sponsor this week is

and they are giving to the winner a 12$ gift card to the shop at www.samistamp.blogspot.com (that's equal to 3 images of  choice) to the winner.

For my DT card, I decided to make another boy/man card...  I'm not really comfortable with male cards, but I'm really trying to loose my fear!

so, I'll list my Bs!!!! I used: Button, Boy, Books, Brown, (Speech) Bubbles, Blue.

Sami Stamps let me choose one for their images for my card, and I chose this one called "I love Books".

this is one of my "messy" cards... lots of distressing and random layers! for Distressing I used the Tim Holtz Distressing tool and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad in Old paper.

The papers I used are from Studio Calico Darling Dear collection and the bottom layers was from a freebie with a magazine.
I also used a piece of kraft card which I corrugated with my Woodware Crimper.

I used my Promarkers to colour the image.

Cocoa, Raw Sienna, Vanilla, Almond, Tan, Sandstone, Moss, Antique Pink, Lipstick Red, China Blue, Azure and Cool Grey 2

I created the sentiment on my computer, with a quote I found on the internet, which I love!!!

to finish off the card, I used:
a button
a paper clip
washi tape from local shop
ribbon mesh from The Ribbon Girl

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

613 Avenue Create #67 - Ag with optional twist: Reuse or recycle something (I reused a paper clip)
Artistic Inspirations #87 - Monochrome or Anything goes
Everybody-Art Challenge  #274 - Anything goes
Pile it on #15 - Mesh or Tulle
The Crafting Cafe Monthly challenge  -  One for the boys
The East Wind #5 - Humour
The Paper Nest Dolls #8 - Anything goes
Through  Craft Room door - Anything goes

Thank you so much for stopping by!!! I really appreciate all the comments and feeback! and don't forget to follow :)

Until next time!
