My name is Mirella. I'm in my middle 30's and I live with my husband Gul and daughters Alaia and Aisha in the Scottish Highlands. I'm originally from Spain, I moved to the UK for a few months in 2001 and decided to stay!
I've always been a creative person, I used to draw and paint during my childhood and teen years... I started to be interested in paper-crafting in 2009, when I decided to start a scrapbook for Alaia, who was born that year. Then I switched to card-making, and here I am!
I don't think I have a signature style yet, I try to make all type of cards, it depends on my mood I guess! I love the "Shabby Chic" style (as I call it, my "messy" look) but I try to play around with different styles like CAS, or just simpler cards.
I mostly do all my crafting at night, once the little one is in bed.. It's when I feel the most creative and I have nobody to disturb me! I dream about having my own craft room one day, at the moment I have to cope with my little space under the stairs in the living room... My messy corner!
